Frequently Asked Questions

OnPoint Digital Ventures (OPDV)’s privacy policy complies with international and European legislation (RGPD) on data protection. OPDV informs users through this document about their rights and obligations regarding the confidentiality of his data and the reasons for their storage and use.

Data collected by OPDV

OPDV collects all data entered into the applications by users and stores it either on its own servers or on the servers of a provider. As a cloud-based service, storage on a server is a mandatory requirement for the operation of the application, so users must agree to it.

OPDV classifies data into two categories: user data and account data. User data includes the user name and personal data, photos and documents in the “account information” and “contact information” sections. Account data is the data provided when the business account is created.

OPDV collects data from cookies. If users wish, they can disable cookies at any time from their browser so that OPDV does not collect them. This information is used to conduct navigation studies, as well as access and use of the application. The browsing information includes the type of device that is connected, its characteristics, location and duration of connection.

Our services allow you to share data with other users. Remember that when you share data publicly, it can be indexed by search engines. Our services provide you with various options to show you how to share and delete your content. How to access and update your personal data each time you use our services. When updating your personal information, we may ask you to confirm your identity in order to process your request.

11. Data security

For OPDV, the security of your data is our priority. Currently, the data storage service is provided by specialized providers with security certificates and anti-hacking systems. OPDV has decided to outsource storage to ensure that the provider meets high security standards at levels that OPDV could not provide on its own servers.

We strive to protect OPDV and our users from unauthorized modification, disclosure, deletion, and access to data. In particular: We encrypt many of our services using SSL. We review our policy on data collection, storage and processing, including physical security measures, to prevent unauthorized access to our systems. We restrict access to personal information by OPDV contractors, agents and employees and ensure that they comply with strict contractual confidentiality obligations and are subject to relevant disciplinary conditions or termination of contract if they fail to comply with these obligations. Our privacy policy applies to all services offered by OPDV and its affiliates, including OPDV, but excludes services that are subject to separate privacy policies that do not incorporate this privacy policy.

12. When does this privacy policy apply?
