Frequently Asked Questions
Data collected by OPDV
OPDV collects all data entered into the applications by users and stores it either on its own servers or on the servers of a provider. As a cloud-based service, storage on a server is a mandatory requirement for the operation of the application, so users must agree to it.
OPDV classifies data into two categories: user data and account data. User data includes the user name and personal data, photos and documents in the “account information” and “contact information” sections. Account data is the data provided when the business account is created.
OPDV collects data from cookies. If users wish, they can disable cookies at any time from their browser so that OPDV does not collect them. This information is used to conduct navigation studies, as well as access and use of the application. The browsing information includes the type of device that is connected, its characteristics, location and duration of connection.

At OPDV we process the data provided by interested parties to facilitate the marketing of their products and/or the provision of their services offered by our company.
3. How long will we keep your data?
The personal data provided will be kept for as long as the contractual or commercial relationship with the user is maintained and for the period necessary to comply with legal obligations.

The data will not be disclosed to third parties, but may be disclosed if required by law.
6. What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
Any person has the right to obtain information on the processing that OPDV does or does not do of personal data concerning him or her.
Interested parties have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, to request their deletion when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
In certain circumstances, interested parties may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case we will retain it only for the exercise or defense of their rights.
You may materially exercise your rights in the following manner: by sending an e-mail to email@example.com, duly identifying yourself and expressly indicating the specific right you wish to exercise.
If you have given your consent for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw the consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given prior to its withdrawal.
7. How did we get your data?
All personal data obtained by OPDV have been collected directly by the user. We do not process special categories of personal data (personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership).
8. Data shared by the user
Our services allow you to share data with other users. Remember that when you share data publicly, it can be indexed by search engines. Our services provide you with various options to show you how to share and delete your content. How to access and update your personal data each time you use our services. Our goal is to give you access to your personal information. If this data is not correct, we strive to provide you with the means to delete or update it as soon as possible, unless we need to retain it for business or legal reasons. When updating your personal information, we may ask you to confirm your identity in order to process your request.
We may reject requests that are too repetitive because they require excessive technical effort (e.g., the development of a new system or drastically altering an existing practice) and requests that jeopardize the privacy of other users or are completely impractical (e.g., requests that refer to information stored in backup systems). Where we can offer you the opportunity to access and modify your personal data, we will do so free of charge, except where this would require undue technical effort.
In providing our services, we will protect your data from accidental or intentional deletion. For this reason, even if you delete your data from our services, we cannot immediately destroy residual copies stored on our active servers or data stored in our security systems.
9. Access and modification of user data
The user can change their user data or accounts at any time. OPDV does not store the changed data, so once the user changes or deletes the information, it will be lost forever in the application.
10. The data we share
We do not share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of OPDV unless one of the following circumstances applies:
- Consent: We will only share your personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of OPDV if you give us your consent. Consent will be required to share specially protected personal data.
- Legal Reasons: We will share your personal data with companies, organizations or individuals outside of OPDV if we have a good faith belief that there is a reasonable need to access, use, retain or disclose that information in order to: comply with any requirements of applicable law or regulation; comply with the provisions of these Terms of Service, including investigating potential violations, detecting, preventing or otherwise remedying fraud or technical or security issues, protecting the rights or property of OPDV, our users or the public to the extent required or permitted by applicable law.
11. Data security
For OPDV, the security of your data is our priority. Currently, the data storage service is provided by specialized providers with security certificates and anti-hacking systems. OPDV has decided to outsource storage to ensure that the provider meets high security standards at levels that OPDV could not provide on its own servers.
13. Compliance with the law
When we need to obtain information from you, we will always ask you to provide it voluntarily, by giving your explicit consent through the means provided.
The processing of data collected through the data collection forms on the website or through other channels will be included in the register of processing activities for which OPDV is responsible.
However, OPDV cannot guarantee the absolute invulnerability of the systems, therefore, it does not assume any responsibility for damages derived from alterations that third parties may cause in computer systems, electronic documents or files of the user.
